Job Title Head Butler
Type of Position Full Time
Department Room - Paiza
Position Description
  • Manage in a hands on manner the daily operation of the butler department, and coordinate with the Butler manager the schedule for all butler Team Members
  • When doing schedule, take into account forecast, special events and staff requests. And assist in the training of all Team Members
  • Make inventories and order food & beverage product and supplies, and maintain guest profile and take appropriate action
  • Attend pre-shift meeting, and attend to service the suites and other assigned areas as needed, including but not limited to: food & beverage service, restocking product, equipment and supplies
  • Respond to guest requests and answer question about Sands China Properties, when unable to answer, take the time to research the answer and respond in an appropriate manner
  • Know, adhere to and practice all aspects of Unmatched Service Standard
  • Be able to escort guests from any location in the hotel/casino to suite and serve the guests as needed, including but limited to: hotel tour, suite tour, explanation of service, unpacking And packing of luggage and others
  • Perform assistance from to Airport, Ferry, Hotels and other locations, perform light housekeeping duties, and perform all service, duties and tasks in a professional manner
  • Operate POS to standards to order food & beverages, Clean and maintain work areas to Parisian standards, and organize errands as needed, to include but not limited to: tickets, shopping, food & beverage products, deliveries and packages
  • Communicate with team members via radio or any communication system provided
  • Fulfill guests’ requests as long as they are safe, legal and economically sound
  • Perform other assignment as needed
Position Requirements
  • High School graduate, Diploma Degree in Hospitality Management preferred
  • 3 – 4 years’ of experience in related area
  • Knowledge of food & beverage service, including in suite and good knowledge on wines and spirits
  • Be energetic, committed and pay attention to detail while striving for perfection
  • Be able to work in a high stress area, make clear, concise decisions based on sound business parameters
  • Manage, train and develop a professional team
  • Have good communication skills, Read, write, speak and understand English and Mandarin

  • Preferably with previous guest service experience in luxury hotel
  • Preferably with fine dining experience
