Position Description
  • Clean the assigned soiled dishes and silverware with the help of the dishwashing machines
  • Set up the dishwashing equipment in accordance with specifications; rectify any deficiencies and make all necessary steps to ensure the equipment functions properly. Breakdown and clean the dishwashing machines regularly
  • Sort, stack and store clean wares in the designated area
  • Transport and set up designated wares to the specified banquet or function areas and kitchen equipments and plates to the specified kitchen area
  • Clean and sanitize wares and equipments in accordance with the standard of operating procedures in place. Stock the kitchen with cleaned equipments
  • Set up the work station with designated supplies and equipment. Report shortages to supervisor and replenish as needed.  Report any damages, maintenance problems or safety hazards to the supervisor
  • Maintain at all times cleanliness, orderliness and sanitation of all hallways, back of house and kitchens
  • Attend pre-shift meetings with the supervisors and Stewarding Manager to review assignments, changes in requirements and policies, etc
  • Be Willing To Work Any Day, Any Shift
  • Have a Well Groomed and Professional Appearance
Position Requirements
  • Primary School or High School in F&B / Hospitality
  • Fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin
  • Tolerate chemicals used for cleaning and sanitation
  • Able to carry heavy workload and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Respond to visual and aural cues
